These are minis for another game in the Warhammer 40,000 setting called Aeronautica Imperialis. The game uses a smaller scale for the miniatures called ‘epic scale’, making vehicles such as aircraft more accessible.
Skies of Fire was one of the beginner box sets which I bought. It contains 10 aircraft, with 5 for each faction included.
Imperial Aircraft
These are a mixture of aircraft from two different branches of the Imperium. The two aircraft painted in a desert camouflage scheme are part of the Astra Militarum, while the three others are part of the Imperial Navy.
T’au Aircraft
These have been painted to be a part of my T’au Empire minis. These were a lot of fun to paint, as it was mostly camouflage stippled on, and then a few added details.
